Top 5 Business Apps Performance in Italy, Q4 2021

During the fourth quarter of 2021, the top five business applications in Italy demonstrated diverse trends across downloads, active users, and revenue. Data provided by Sensor Tower gives a comprehensive view of their performance.

Microsoft Teams saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at around 93K in early October and declining to approximately 23K by the end of December. Active users for the app reached a high of about 962K in late November but dropped significantly to around 459K by the last week of December.

Google Meet (original) experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, hitting a peak of approximately 86K in mid-December. Active users also showed a positive trend, with a notable rise from around 778K in late September to approximately 1.32M by mid-December, before dropping to about 647K at the end of the year.

For Zoom Workplace, weekly downloads maintained a relatively stable range, peaking at around 59K in mid-November. Active users saw a peak of approximately 3.12M in late November but decreased to around 1.78M by the end of December. Revenue showed a minor yet steady increase, reaching approximately $41 by mid-December.

Webex Meetings had a modest performance in downloads, peaking at around 30K in early November. Active users hovered around 100K during the quarter, with a slight decline to approximately 79K by the end of December.

Adobe Scan: PDF & OCR Scanner displayed a consistent download rate, ranging from around 19K to 24K throughout the quarter. Active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at about 168K in late November. Revenue for Adobe Scan showed a gradual increase, peaking at approximately $936 in early November and ending the quarter at around $879.
